There was a poetess who sat down to write
As it often happens, she wasn't very bright
She thought that carpe diem
Makes a jolly good rhyme
So at that very point, she called it a night.


I love limericks - and am as proud of the three (including today's newborn) that I penned down, as only Phoebe could be of 'smelly cat'.
No wonder when it was our turn to give farewell (to Y0 batch), the 'titles' all came out to be limericks: concept and realization by yours trulyand a bosom friend. The unimagination made us snatch limericks from obscure "fun poetry" sites found after wading our way through google of course, but then there were some -ahem- clever modifications to the original ones :) I still remember the look of amusement on Priya's face when Karishma was proclaimed to be "a lady so thin that when she made up her head to drink some lemonade, she dropped through the straw and fell in!" :D
