haikus as they came out to be

scorching Sun
the cotton bud
parted lips.

**

A sob in throat
forcefully drowned
Newton's Law -- throws a sigh out.

**

tear drops
your face
washed away.

**

curtain drops
I become
herself again.

**

Morning mist:
the dry earth
dreams up a cloud.

**

I don't know if they qualify as haikus yet. Maybe they do, as the 'modern free-form english' ones. Have to do more research: http://www.ahapoetry.com/HAIKU.HTM
